The good news: you will find your best golf in the future. I developed the Free-Release-Method, this means your swing will have no resistance during the motion. I optimize some main functions Ben Hogan has written down 80 years ago.
- Set up:
in the set up your body weight is 50:50 on both foots. You are perfect balanced; your head stays in the middle and moves first after your club hit the ball.
- Back Swing:
start your backswing at the right hip and shoulder around your spine; slow but under pressure; your body weight stays 50:50, stretch your left. Turn your hip not more than 45 degrees.
- Downswing:
Start your downswing with the right big toe. The goal is to speed up your hip. If you have the possibility to picture the moment of impact have a look at your hip position. If the hip is in the same position like at the set up you will create no power. Your hip should be turned 15 to 30 degrees in the goal direction.
Attention this is very difficult; you need a very good workout program fort his; i recommend a daily training of 5 minutes with the Golf Power or Balance Trainer. I developed this training aid special to help golfers to find their active leg work.
4. Short before impact:
Make a positive body weight transfer, your writ will speed the club through the ball. Attention I recommend to use the Turning Shoe, because this technique will reduce the stress to your joints, cartilage, bones, ligaments, spine and disks.
- After impact and Finish position
Turn after impact with the joint in the Turning Shoe. Your eyes focus the ball to the goal

I made a study with 1100 Golfers about their hip position in the time sequenze of the ball impact. I figured out that 99% of the Ben Hogan Method users have no hip motion at the impact. Pro Golfer increased this passive efect because they try to have a lateral hip shifting. So it is prooved that the traditional Ben Hogan has what i call passive hip rotation and passiv leg work. The result of this biomechanics research with 1.100 Golers:
1. they reduce their power
2. the stress reaction to the hip is really bad and unphysiological

i invent the Turning Shoe to reduce the stress in my ankle – it works. After this we figured out that there is a big health protection and therapie picture behind ths. I am not a bigh mouth if i tell you that my swing method is the leading swing technique. I am personally the follower of Ben Hogan. Ben was the greates. His method works over 80 years. But now – here i am and i am able to say: i am his follower: Why: because i change 3 main functions of Ben´s method.
1. i reduce the negative body weight transfert more than 90%
2. my method do not turn over the body joints – this is unphysiological; i use the Turning Shoe to protect and thereapie the health of golfers all age. (Nobody els cares about the health of golfers)
3. we have the same swing plan but the durameter is nearly a circle and not oval.
There are two effects: health protection and thereapie with the Turning Shoe and improve performance only with the method.
The answer because my method imporve the energy transfer to the ball has several arguments:
1. we have a nearly perfect balance 1
2. We are able to fix the core during balance 1
3. We reduce the negative body weight transfer nearly to 100%
4. FR optimize the swing plan cirle
5. active leg work is a main part of the FRM
6. active hip turn – speed up your hip is a main part in the FRM
7. We turn around a neutral axis during B1 nearly until the impact
8. We have positive body weight transfer short infront of the impact.
9. we optimize the repeatable impact quality
All this reasons have influence to the Energy Transfer to the ball. We are able to improve this quality minimum 5 % ; up to 15%.
Again: the TS protects the health – he works after the impact. The FRM improves the game.

- Start the back swing with the right hip, try to fix the point of gravitation, slow down the tempo, strecht the left arm
- Rotation hip and arms until shoulder are 90 degree , basic axis ist he neutral axis
- Downswing starts together with the right toe to speed up the hips, also rotation with the arms
- Weight transfer short bevor impact through the ball
- Active leg work
- Swing through until finish
I recomend to use the Turning Shoe for to transfer the stress out of the body; all other shoes makes the swing unphysiological
The questions is how?
the answer is with acitve leg work.
To act active legwork the body weight during Balance 1 has to be in balance to both legth.
