Sean says, “When I started teaching 16 years ago, it seemed that 80 percent of my students had lower-back issues.

Frank Drollinger: the only solution…1. E-Turning Shoe with a joint inside the sole 2. Free-Release-Method….balance B1 (set up backswing impact), active legwork to speed up the hip…

Golf Biomechanics: X-Factor 1-2-3 (Free-Release)

let´s talk about the Free-Release (Frank Drollinger) 3! X-Factors:

X-Factor is the angle-relation between hip axis and shoulder axis.

X-Factor 1 shows us the possibility of swing power. Hip position at the backswing ca. 35 to 45 degrees and shoulder 90 degrees

X-Factor 2 shows us at the moment of ball impact if the hip was moved under Free-Release active legwork. We check this quality by high speed cameras.  So it is logical that you need measureable balance during B1 (setup backswing impact). If the right heel is at the impact moment still on the ground but the hip turned we call this situation anticipation of hip motion without the effect of additional energy.

X-Factor 3 (finish position) shows the physiology of the swing. If the hip is behind the shoulder we have huge stress to the back, spine, discs and vertebras. This works with active legwork. If the legwork is passive – this means the hip moves not because of active legwork but because of the power of the swing rotation. We have also huge stress at the back, spine, discs and vertebras.

Conclusion: Balance (B1) is needed to ensure active legwork. Balance (B1) and active legwork are main functions in the Free-Release-Method. This is the basic for a healthy golf swing

Thank you Frank!

Just trying to make a small difference with the golfers I train. If I help improve my clients game and improve the longevity of their golf game I have killed two birds with one stone. Frank thank you for the knowledge in making golf easier for all of us!”

Peter Lonard G Out Jun 28 hip September?
Latest News:
In a July 7 update on his web site, Peter Lonard has announced that he will not return to competition this month. In late June, he was hopeful that he could resume live action shortly, but he has elected not to push his recovery from hip and knee surgeries. “My specialist is happy enough with the progress and I am now playing on a regular basis,” Lonard said, “but he has suggested that it is not worth placing too much early pressure on it at this stage. All the progress we have made since the operation might come unstuck and so I am prepared to wait a little longer. I would rather do that and be sure than overdo it. I hope to be back playing tournament golf around September or October but even if I have to write off most of this year then at least I know I am giving everything the best possible chance of a full recovery.”

Nick O’Hern G Out Jun 13 knee surgery October?
Latest News:
Nick O’Hern will be out of action for several months following surgery on both of his knees. The lefty last teed it up at THE PLAYERS Championship (71-73=MC), where he tore the meniscus in his left knee. With a dodgy right knee that has been scoped a couple of times in recent years, O’Hern decided to have both knees repaired simultaneously. He had arthroscopic surgery on the left and reconstructive surgery on the right. “It got to the point with my knees that I thought this isn’t worth it so we organised the operations,” he said. “It’s a shame, but that’s the way it happens.” With nearly $400K in the bank in 11 starts this year, look for the Aussie to receive a Major Medical Extension affording him roughly 15 starts to earn what should be about $275K. There is a slim chance that he could return to competition in October and earn his 2011 card the old-fashioned way.

Chez Reavie G Out Jun 2 knee surgery 2011
Latest News:
Chez Reavie had reconstructive surgery on his right knee in Scottsdale on Tuesday, and will miss the remainder of the 2010 season. The 2008 Canadian Open champion has struggled considerably this year, cashing just six times in 15 starts and none for a top 30. His knee has been swollen since the Bob Hope Classic, and a recent MRI revealed a tear of the meniscus. “The doctor said there were no complications and it went well,” said the 28-year-old Reavie, who tore the meniscus once before in high school, shortly after he tore his ACL, neither of which was never repaired. “The doctor told me he was surprised I lasted this long without an ACL. If I didn’t have the work done now I could be in further damage and arthritis sooner rather than later so I decided to get it done.” He’ll begin 2011 on a Major Medical Extension awarding 13-15 starts to earn what should be about $550K.

Are You Familiar With the Free-Release Tips for an Improved Golf Swing?

This article presents our new methodical tips for an improved transfer of energy to the golf ball.

Every day, golfers from all over the world ask me about the ultimate tip for an improved golf swing: “What do I have to do in order to make my golf swing more precise and especially reproducible?”

My response to this question never varies: “Improve your impact angle upon contact with the ball.” This advice is always followed by the golfer’s next question, as to how to achieve this target: “Can you tell me what a perfect impact angle looks like and what I have to do to achieve it?”

The perfect impact angle in order to achieve the best possible transfer of energy from the club head to the golf ball requires an angle of 90° between the ball and the sweet spot of the club face. Minor divergences of a club face that is open or closed by up to 2.5° are within the tolerance zone. Within this ideal range of angles of the club face, each ball hit well should land on the fairway.

I employ the following training concept during my work with tour professionals in order to teach these players an improved impact angle in a step-by-step process.

1st Step:

Training and training sessions with amateurs and tour professionals alike are preceded by a health plan. A reproducible healthy golf swing is the only way to ensure highest performance levels in the long term. For me, this includes, at all times and without exception, use of the “Easy Turning Shoe” (ETS) with its intelligent swiveling mechanism in the sole. The swiveling mechanism reduces by up to 99% the harmful torsional strain placed on the musculoskeletal system, and on joints in particular, during the downswing and after impact.

2nd Step:

My pupils always use the “Easy Turning Shoe” when playing golf. It is now possible to achieve simple improvements in motor functions: Reduce the weight shift during the backswing until you achieve a feeling of balance during the set-up-backswing-downswing phase. In order to monitor your balance; simply place each of your feet on separate scales while training. You are well-balanced when each set of scales displays the same weight. At our national performance center for health in golf, biomechanics and performance enhancement, we use modern electronic foot pressure measurement equipment and the Golf Balance Trainer as motor function aids when training tour professionals.

3rd Step:

Passive legwork becomes active legwork: Having created a feeling for body balance within the Free-Release method during the Balance 1 swing phase (set-up-backswing-downswing), we can now address the next task. It is now important to accelerate the rotation of the hips towards the target during the swing on the basis of active legwork. Active legwork and hip rotation enable the transfer of energy onto the golf ball not only from the arms, but also from the leg muscles. Active legwork begins at the same time as the downswing starts. The right big toe joint provides the impulse through a dynamic turn. The work of the gluteal and leg muscles leads to the rotation of the hips via the dynamic turn, directed towards the target. Active legwork can be trained very effectively using the Golf Balance Trainer.

Practicing in accordance with this training concept will enable you to improve your precision, the transfer of energy and at the same time physiological aspects of your golf swing.

Summary:

1. P using the Easy Turning Shoe and the Free-Release method.

2. No negative weight shift during the backswing.

3. Accelerate your hips on the basis of active legwork.

4. Improve your impact angle.

5. Monitor your impact angle and the transfer of energy using radar measurements.

Golf Injuries….

Please have a look at this link…

http://www.rotoworld.com/content/injuries.aspx?sport=GO

Annika, Tom etc. tell their health story…oh my Lord…

http://www.golfdigest.com/golf-instruction/2009-03/injuries?currentPage=2

…yes there is a solution…Easy Turning Shoe and the Free-Release-Method

Why did we create the “Golf Biomechanics and Health Coach” education programs for Golf Professionals?

In my work the “Golfer” is the central focus of everything I do and for which I stand. Of course we have to earn money – but my business philosophy is that everything we do has to have a unique advantage for our customers and students. This is the most important point of my work. “If we honestly care about our customers and students they will honor our work and will stay with us for the long-run.”

I now have found my perfect “mission” which I am able to identify with 100%. To be able to give this solution is a special gift and am thankful for everyone who has helped me along my journey.

I am so thankful that everything we say has been scientifically measured. I am really open-minded, so I want to give this program to anyone who wants to deal in the same fashion with their students.

I want to protect or rehabilitate his or her health and improve their game. The basic swing model developed by “Ben Hogan” has now reached the limit in relation to improving the swing and we have figured out that this swing model philosophy is dangerous to your physical health.

So, with some luck, I found the “Free-Release-System”. The reason for developing this method was because I had pain in my ankle, back and spine after playing 18 holes.

I quickly found the main problem of the unhealthy swing motion: The natural move you have after you hit the ball is like a braking motion. This is called the Golf Shoe with spikes!

These “bad” golf shoes stop the natural rotation and are like driving a car into a wall at a high rate of speed. This external power is so harmful that if someone repetitively

makes these motions they will get injuries.

Not only Tiger Woods – also Phil Mickolson and nearly all other Tour Players have injuries. A motion which results in injuries can not be the best for you.

We do a lot of sports medical research about this very issue and we also have an education program which trained more than 100 Medical Doctors and the program is still growing!

Another point of an unperfected swing motion is the energy transfer to the ball. We have researched about the hip position in the finish as well as at the point of the impact.

We also conducted research pertaining to the measurable balance in the “Ben-Swing.” One of our focuses was the legwork; I was interested in knowing if it is passive or active

and one main point was the point of gravitation during the swing. The inherent question was is it hyper-mobile or can we fix the movement? Another question was about the angle of

the club at the point of impact with the ball.

I will give you the solution: All these points are clearly improved with the Free-Release-Method, all of them! We have measured these results.

It doesn’t matter if the golfer is an amateur or a top 100 player. We are able to improve everything.

This is why we created the “Golf Biomechanics and Health Pro educational programs according to the Free-Release Method.” If you want to know more about the

method you are able to purchase my DVD “Golf Power Axis”. I also recommend using the Easy Turning Shoe for all golfers. – be smart.

How does this work? For health reasons I opened the “breaking” point during the swing with a joint inside the EASY TURNING SHOE, this way I am able to reduce up to

99% of the stress to the body

and I optimized the swing biomechanics.

I am sure it is necessary that Teaching Pros have to use the latest program to teach students.

Regards to all

Frank Drollinger #1 Golf Biomechanics (Because we measure the results)

There is a alternative – The easy turning shoe – stressreduction up to 99%

I am not looking back what Golfers have don; i am not the one who adjust the past; i am the one who looks to the future and want to say: all this is not necessary – there is a alternative: The ETS and the Free-Release-Method……in other sports like Sking they have changed from “Hypermobil Stress Motion Swing” …to the “Carving Swing”…also they optimized the hardware form normal ski to carving ski….the FR-System has the same biomechnics principals…….The spirit of the game and the IOC Charta say that we have to act  in the healthy direction………read the following article which was pupliced at golf.com and you will understand what are the aftermath of ……..torsion……friction…….stress……..torque………during the old “Ben Hogan Swing”….the past was the best we was able to do..but know we know it better…think about the health future of our kids…

(Resource Golf.com) Tiger’s doctor charged with giving PEDs to NFL players

The Canadian doctor who treated Tiger Woods’s injured left knee was charged with unlawful distribution of drugs, including human growth hormone (HGH), to NFL players. U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul Jr. announced the charges on Tuesday.

Federal prosecutors filed a criminal complaint Tuesday at the U.S. District Court in Buffalo charging Dr. Anthony Galea, 50, of Toronto, with making false statements to federal officials, smuggling, unlawful distribution of HGH, introducing an unapproved drug (Actovegin) into interstate commerce and conspiracy to defraud the United States. In total, Galea faces as many as 28 years in prison for the charges and millions in potential fines.

The crux of the complaint involves Galea’s treatment of three NFL players who are not identified. One of the NFL players allegedly received injections of Actovegin from Galea. Actovegin, which is calf’s blood extract used in the treatment of circulatory disorders, is not banned by the NFL, but its use is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Another NFL player allegedly had two kits of HGH delivered to his home at Galea’s direction. The third player is alleged to have been treated by Galea numerous times in the United States.

Galea’s billings to these three athletes totaled approximately $200,000, the complaint said.

According to prosecutors, Galea repeatedly entered the United States to treat numerous professional athletes from 2007 to September 2009, including athletes from the NFL, Major League Baseball and the PGA Tour. According to a witness cooperating with prosecutors, Galea is not a licensed doctor in the United States and he understood that treating patients inside the United States was unlawful. The witness accompanied Galea to the Untied States numerous times to treat athletes, according to the complaint.

“The medical procedures described by the cooperating witness that Dr. Galea performed in the United States included but were not limited to a plasma rich platelet (PRP) injections, injection of drug mixtures or ‘cocktails’ into athletes’ knees; IV drips; and ultrasounds and injections of drug mixtures into the sites of muscle tears,” the complaint said. “The PRP procedure involved withdrawing blood from a patient, spinning it in a centrifuge, and re-injecting the plasma into the patient’s body at the site of an injury. The cooperating witness said this procedure was designed to speed the healing process. The cooperating witness said injections into the sites of muscle tears contained Actovegin, as did the IV drips. The cooperating witness also sad Dr. Galea would at times inject a cocktail containing HGH into an athlete. The cooperating witness said HGH injections were designed to help regenerate cartilage growth.”

Several reports identify the cooperating witness as Galea’s former assistant Mary Ann Catalano. According to ESPN, Catalano identified 23 athletes during interviews with U.S. and Canadian authorities whom she said Galea treated in the United States.

At the Masters in April, Woods said that federal investigators had contacted his agent, Mark Steinberg, about the Galea probe, but had not asked to interview him. During that same media conference, Woods unequivocally denied taking any performance-enhancing drugs and said that Galea was treating his left leg after Woods’s knee surgery in 2008.

“(Galea) never gave me HGH or any PEDs. I’ve never taken that my entire life. I’ve never taken any illegal drug, ever, for that matter,” Woods said, going on to explain that Galea had given him “platelet-enriched plasma treatments,” the blood-spinning technique described in the complaint.

In a recent interview with The Golf Channel, Woods’s ex-coach Hank Haney said he witnessed Galea treating Woods’s knee and said that the procedure was legitimate.

“I was there and watched the whole procedure,” Haney said. “There was never anything that went into Tiger Woods’s body that didn’t come out of his body. They take blood out, they spin it, they inject the plasma back in. I totally believe that Tiger Woods has never taken any performance-enhancing drugs.”

What els must happen? The traditional swing samples are not phyiological-but we have a solution FRS – same biomechanical principals like in skiing the change from normal Ski to Carvingskisystem!

Tiger Woods said tests Wednesday showed an inflamed neck joint that causes pain and makes it hard to turn his head, an injury that will require little more than medicine, massages and rest.

Woods had an MRI that revealed inflammation in a facet joint of his neck. He said on his website that when facet joints are inflamed, it causes pain in the area along with headaches and difficulty rotating the head. (reference=golf.com)

Frank Drollinger´s solution:  Stress reduction with the “EASY TURNING SHOE”. (measured by Prof. Dr. Wank= up to 99% and with a field test of 5000 Golfers ankle position finish and impact, Case Studies Dr. med. Rist/Swiss).

I am sure he gets the best medical and physio support – but they should work on the reasons: stress, friction, share force because of torsion. There are only three solutions: quit, suffering (heal the symptoms then the body says, hey stop this motion) or another option is to work with the Free-Release-System and the ETS for a physiological swing with no stress.

By the way, the Rules say you have to respect sportsmanship, sport medical ethic = if you know of an alternative to play without injuring yourself…you have to use these options (this is my personal interpretation)– you will find the same information when see the written material on the IOC Charta (there it is really clear => 9. to encourage and support measures protecting the health of athletes;).

Also the Rule 14.3 Exception one says: he is allowed to use the ETS – i say if you read the rules all have to use the ETS – because all other systems and methods have the result of injuries. (Dr. F. Schiebl, Sportmedical Expert Study, Prof. Dr. med. Hans Pässler, Atos News).

If Tigers’ outfitter called me and asked if they were allowed to use our non-circumvention patented system – i would say look what we wrote to you month ago – yes for a little license fee we… we just have to make a contract – we deal with all well known outfitters in the same conditions.

For me Tiger is the greatest golfer ever – his inner voice will tell him the right thing: why? Our body´s are smart. I hope i am able to help Tiger – because i love seeing him playing golf.

I have educated more than 100 Orthopedic MD´s. After they learned the FR-System they stand strong behind the system and products.

There are people who say that we count 22 Mio. Golf-Injuries. Our Golf Medical Coaches find our that you have actually hurt yourself well prior when you actually feel the pain from your injuries! Now is the time to act!

Have a nice day

Frank
